Was it a falling star?

Should I make a wish?

It was tough for me to believe what I'd encountered. Even though there were thin clouds in the sky, the stars were visible.

I could feel a cool breeze hitting my body. It was hot inside the room.

I went outside to buy some milk for home.

Came back with milk and three pieces of chutneys (pickles in small packets) for my three sisters. I couldn’t stay inside the room because of the temperature. Bits of sweat was dripping down from my skin.

I decided to go to the roof to chill for a moment.

The roof was pretty small as the rest of the space was covered with rooms and people living there.

However, once I reached the roof, I saw a man looking down watching some people quarreling with each other over some unidentified matter. And there was nobody else on the roof without him.

I sat on the wall on the opposite side of the person. A bit later, he went back to his room.

I was enjoying the cool breeze and the weather outside.

Suddenly, I looked upon the sky and my eyes stumbled upon a star that was gliding through the sky.

At first, I thought maybe an airplane was moving. But it didn't seem like an airplane from any angle when I looked closely.

I've heard of falling stars and people making wishes when it happens in front of their eyes.

But while I was watching the star gliding forward, my eyes were stuck on it. I forgot everything else for a moment.

As the star was moving, my eyes were following it. After two to three seconds, the star vanished.

The breeze was still hitting my body and I was lost in my thoughts…
